Indiana, Clark County, Jeffersonville
river mile 600

Is this a park? Well, they seem to be building a gazebo. But that’s not what this place is for. A giant parking lot, a couple of portapotties: it’s a boat launch. “The premier launch spot for Southern Indiana boaters” is what it’s website says. True. It does its job: provides easy access to the river, and a place to park the pickups and the boat trailers. But it’s not magical at all.
In a pinch you could kayak or bike camp here. It’s flat and open.
