The research team did not want to disturb the man in the truck and the woman in the car who, whatever they were doing, were not launching a boat, so we spent little time at this boat ramp. Like most others, it is a giant field of parking abutting a ramp down to the water — in this case the water of a flooded stream, an embayment. Up the stream, towards Rising Sun; down the stream, under a bridge, and into the Ohio.
